Chase Motivation and How To Control It

As dog owners we have a legal obligation under the Dogs (Protection of Livestock) Act 1953 to ensure we control our dogs around livestock. It is therefore essential for everyone to teach their dogs to be well behaved and under control around livestock whether we reside in the countryside or town.

Course Content and Objectives

• How to socialise and familiarise dogs to livestock in the correct way

• How to control instinctive chase behaviour

• Play chase motivation

• Predatory chase motivation

• Work with a variety of species including deer, goats , pigs, horses and llamas

• Places are limited to enable our team to dedicate time dealing with individual dogs and owners ensuring maximum success.

Courses are run with no more than 10 dogs and handlers present. Therefore please book early to avoid disappointment.
