The decision to bring a new puppy into your family is an important one and something that should lead to many years of joy and companionship. This decision should never be taken lightly as we all recognise the slogan ‘a dog is for life not just for Christmas’. It is always better to start as you mean to go on and by positively shaping your dogs behaviour from the beginning it will save a lot of heartache and hard work later on.
Sue Williams is passionate about puppies and her expertise in this area is utilised widely. Sue is Dogs Monthly magazines expert on puppy training and behaviour as well as breeding, in their monthly K9 queries section. She has many articles published relating to puppies. Click to view

Once you have your puppy we can help you build solid foundations to ensure your puppy develops into the perfect pet with either our puppy kindergarten classes or puppy consultations.
All puppies are welcome at the classes once they have been cleared to attend by their veterinarian, usually a week after their last vaccination. We cater for all breeds and temperaments and they are tailored for those attending. These group sessions not only allow owners to learn more about their dogs and how to help them become well mannered, happy adults but also allow the puppies to socialise and increase their experiences of dogs and people in the right way. The class environment is inclusive and nurturing meaning that the puppies learn to experience the world in a positive and controlled manner. The classes help to create and strengthen the bond with your new puppy that will last throughout their lives and help them become your new best friend and family member.
